We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic global IT team during an exciting transformation phase. This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure within a Microsoft Azure environment, supporting global business operations across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and maintain Azure-based and hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead and support cloud migration projects, including virtual machine builds and application deployments.
- Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of cloud and hybrid services.
- Manage Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Administer identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including advanced conditional access policies.
- Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices with tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Support integration of cloud services with on-premises environments and SASE platforms.
- Provide Level 3/4 support for complex incidents and escalations.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to drive governance, cost optimization, and security best practices.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure virtual machines, builds, and migrations.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
- Expertise with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune).
- Hands-on experience with IAM, conditional access, and cloud security frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, GPO, and Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Exposure to AWS is a plus.
