We’re in search of a forward-thinking Senior Solutions Architect with deep AWS expertise to join our Digital Architecture Delivery team, where you will be instrumental in shaping the cloud landscape and guiding our strategic journey toward scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Cloud Architecture & Strategy:
- Lead the design of enterprise-scale solutions with a heavy focus on AWS-native services (Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, ELB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, SQS, etc.).
- Define architectural patterns that optimize performance, security, reliability, and cost within AWS environments.
- Drive adoption of “Cloud First / API First” strategies and AWS best practices across teams.
- Evaluate AWS technologies, run POCs, and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business goals.
- Establish cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks specific to AWS workloads.
- Project Delivery:
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver AWS-native and hybrid architectures.
- Create and maintain Solution Architecture Documents (SADs) with sprint-by-sprint updates.
- Design AWS-based solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and cross-region scalability.
- Recommend and implement AWS security controls (IAM, RBAC, MFA, encryption, network segmentation).
- Support NFRs (performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, resilience) using AWS patterns and services.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation, conduct design/code reviews, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Thought Leadership & Enablement:
- Mentor teams on AWS solution design and development practices.
- Present AWS architecture decisions at Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) and Security Review Boards.
- Develop reusable AWS reference architectures, playbooks, and standards for enterprise use.
- Stay current on emerging AWS technologies and evangelize their adoption where relevant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect with a primary focus on AWS.
- Expertise in designing and deploying solutions using a broad range of AWS services (networking, compute, storage, security, serverless, data).
- Hands-on experience with AWS-native security, governance, and cost optimization practices.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation within AWS.
- Ability to influence and present solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience guiding agile product teams and leading cloud migrations/modernization efforts.
Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or/and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate highly preferred.
