We are currently seeking a qualified Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Engineer will support our SaaS platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will own deployments end-to-end, debug production issues under pressure, and lead large-scale environment and data migrations.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and others.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, cost optimization, and performance.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt and more
- Implement IAM policies, security groups, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Maintain and optimize test automation frameworks.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in networking, service meshes (e.g., Istio), and streaming/messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems design and operation.
- Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, AWS CodeDeploy, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic).
- Proficient in Python or Golang.
- Linux kernel tuning and network debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments
