About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated GCP DevOps Engineer role to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and GCP-native services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc.).
- Build and manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts.
- Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD for automated, secure, and auditable Kubernetes deployments.
- Ensure system security, scalability, and performance across all cloud infrastructure.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC and CI/CD tools.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Manage container orchestration using GKE, including scaling, upgrades, and cluster management.
- Handle secret and credential management via GCP Secret Manager or Vault.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and ensure reliability in production.
- Implement and maintain effective logging, alerting, and incident response systems.
- Optimize cloud usage and help with cost management strategies on GCP.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Proficiency with Helm charts for Kubernetes package management
- Hands-on experience with Argo CD for GitOps-based deployment automation
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)
- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
- Scripting with Bash, Python, or other relevant tools
- Experience with GitOps, version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, and load balancing
- Experience in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver
