We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure, streamline deployments, and ensure system reliability across our production and staging environments on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for applications built on Laravel, Python, and Java.
- Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS (MySQL), MongoDB, Elasticache, and S3.
- Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform/CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Handle installation, configuration, upgrades, and backups for databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and services.
- Set up and maintain monitoring/alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance across environments.
- Perform day-to-day DevOps operations including troubleshooting, incident response, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to support deployment strategies and improve developer productivity.
- Drive best practices in disaster recovery, backup/restore, and environment management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer working with AWS environments (production & staging).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation.
- Expertise in MySQL and MongoDB administration (backup, restore, performance tuning).
- Familiarity with Laravel, Python, and Java application deployments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS/EKS).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and access management in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Prior exposure to Elasticache/Redis performance tuning and scaling.
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
