Role: DevOps Engineer (Cloud Build & Terraform Specialist)

Location: Gurgaon

About the Role

We are looking for skilled DevOps Engineers with strong expertise in CI/CD automation using Google Cloud Build and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform. The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated pipelines and infrastructure provisioning across GCP environments.

This role offers opportunities for both mid-level engineers to strengthen their expertise and senior engineers to drive strategy, governance, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Automation

Build, optimize, and maintain Cloud Build pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Automate packaging, testing, and release workflows across Dev/QA/Prod environments.
Integrate Cloud Build with GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for triggers, approvals, and notifications.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Develop, maintain, and scale Terraform modules for GCP services (Compute, BigQuery, GKE, IAM, Networking, etc.).
Ensure secure Terraform state management, versioning, and workspaces.
Promote reusability and standardization across infrastructure provisioning.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

Collaborate with Dev, QA, Data, and BI teams to deliver fully automated environments.
Ensure cloud governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
Drive resilience and scalability in platform design.

Monitoring & Reliability

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP-native tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring/Logging).
Troubleshoot build failures, Terraform drift, and deployment issues.
Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, automated rollbacks).

Collaboration & Enablement

Partner with engineering teams to foster DevOps adoption.
Document best practices, create runbooks, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
Encourage an automation-first mindset across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering.
Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Build (triggers, service accounts, substitutions, private pools).
Strong knowledge of Terraform (modules, workspaces, providers, state management).
Proficiency with GCP services – Compute, GKE, BigQuery, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage.
Experience with GitOps workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell).
Familiarity with secrets management (Secret Manager, Vault).
Experience with monitoring/logging platforms (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
