We're looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on automation, scalability, and reliability. You'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support high-availability systems. This role is ideal for someone who loves automating everything, has strong AWS expertise, and enjoys working in fast-paced, distributed environments.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services.
- Automate provisioning and deployment using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Set up and monitor system health using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Manage API gateways, load balancers, and communication protocols such as REST, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Implement security best practices, perform static code analysis, and align with compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable product releases.
Key Skills
- Automation: Expertise in infrastructure automation using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Monitoring: Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- API & Load Balancing: Knowledge of REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, API Gateway, and load balancing techniques.
Additional Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS fundamentals.
- Understanding of security standards such as OWASP and static code analysis.
- Familiarity with fintech security frameworks like PCI-DSS and SOC2 (preferred).
- AWS Cloud Certification (preferred).
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS data services (DMS, Glue, Athena, Redshift).
- Prior start-up or distributed team experience.
- Exposure to microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes ecosystems.
Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience managing AWS environments.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages — Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).
- Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
