Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect (Hands-on with TypeScript & CDK)
Location: Juno Beach, FL ( Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time / W2 Contract
About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled
AWS Cloud Architect who is equally comfortable
architecting solutions and
rolling up their sleeves to code. This is a hands-on role, where you’ll spend about
50% of your time coding in TypeScript with AWS CDK in the first 6 months.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement large-scale, cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Architect infrastructure with AWS CDK in TypeScript (IaC, automated deployments, scalable environments).
- Develop and secure APIs (REST/GraphQL) with enterprise-grade authentication (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway).
- Lead teams, mentor engineers, and establish best practices across architecture, security, and performance.
- Optimize AWS cost, reliability, and performance while ensuring security compliance.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on AWS CDK with TypeScript (deep experience required).
- Strong coding background in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, RDS).
- Proven ability to design & secure enterprise APIs.
- Knowledge of containers (Docker, ECS/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in energy/utilities or critical infrastructure.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to AI/LLMs on AWS (e.g., Bedrock).
