Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to join our team in a hybrid role based in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with deep knowledge in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, DevOps practices, and Azure services. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on Azure Cloud.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS).
- Proficient with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD automation.
- Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
- Solid scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management in Azure.
- Experience in monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and security of cloud-based workloads.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Automate routine tasks and develop tooling to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues across the Azure stack, containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and recommend best practices for cloud-native architecture.
