We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who will lead our DevOps initiatives
and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on
experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container
orchestration. Additionally, this role will involve mentoring and managing a small team of
DevOps engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
⚫ Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on
AWS
⚫ Lead the DevOps team in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,
Jenkins).
⚫ Define and enforce infrastructure best practices using Infrastructure as Code tools
(CloudFormation, CDK).
⚫ Oversee containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS).
⚫ Manage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
⚫ Drive automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
⚫ Monitor system performance, security, and cost optimization across AWS environments.
⚫ Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to align infrastructure
strategy with business objectives.
⚫ Lead, mentor, and support a team of DevOps engineers; conduct regular 1:1s, code
reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
⚫ Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
⚫ Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps toolchain.
Required Skills & Qualifications:2
⚫ Strong hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud Administrator/Architect.
⚫ Proficiency in managing production workloads on AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda,
CloudWatch, etc.).
⚫ Solid experience with CI/CD tools and concepts.
⚫ Expertise in Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, or CDK.
⚫ Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools like ECS.
⚫ Good knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost management.
⚫ Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
⚫ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
⚫ Prior experience managing or mentoring a DevOps team.
⚫ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
⚫ AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
⚫ Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
⚫ Experience in agile environments.
