About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Implementation Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience to streamline software delivery, automate workflows, and ensure high system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and management of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools across development and operations teams.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth application deployment and continuous integration.
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Drive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for system performance, availability, and security.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend new DevOps tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or IT operations roles.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP – including compute, networking, and storage.
- Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proven track record of leading DevOps implementations and teams in enterprise environments.
