Cloud Engineer – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Miami, Florida/Seattle, Washington
Compensation: $140,000–$180,000 base + 10–20% annual bonus

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to support our tech leadership in optimizing, deploying, and scaling cloud-based solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep AWS experience, especially in ECS and Fargate, and a passion for integrating machine learning into robust cloud environments. Experience in robotics engineering or education is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cloud system upgrades, infrastructure management, and security patching
- Monitor performance of cloud platforms and ML models, proactively resolving issues
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and ML workflow issues
- Support deployment of production-ready ML systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Build and refine ML pipelines for complex data workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and monitor cloud-based ML solutions
- Maintain documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with cloud and ML technologies to drive innovation
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–7 years of AWS Cloud Engineering experience in complex enterprise environments
- Proficiency with ECS and AWS Fargate
- Experience designing scalable cloud-based computer solutions on AWS EC2
- Hands-on experience with Lambda and data-intensive cloud architectures
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure management, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated deployment workflows
- Experience with cloud-based networking, storage, and security protocols
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines for ML deployment
- Experience integrating ML models into scalable software solutions
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline preferred
