Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across cloud environments. This role blends engineering, automation, and DevSecOps practices to protect cloud infrastructure while enabling business innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Implement and monitor security controls in cloud environments (GCP and other platforms).
- Automate security processes using policy-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Advise teams on cloud security best practices, translating technical requirements into business solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and DBAs to solve complex challenges and maintain secure, scalable systems.
- Track, report, and improve security performance metrics.
What You Bring
- 1–5 years’ experience managing cloud security (GCP required; other clouds a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (Wiz, Prisma, Orca Security, Zscaler).
- Experience with IAC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
- DevSecOps experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
- Strong communication skills and interest in emerging security threats.
- Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or cloud-specific) preferred.
