Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and support our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. Required to have strong expertise in Linux administration, Ansible, Terraform, and the GitHub platform (GitHub Actions, GitHub Repos, GitHub Packages). The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux-based systems in production and development environments.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning cloud and on-prem resources.
- Automate configuration management and server deployments using Ansible.
- Write and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to streamline operational tasks.
- Manage and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (optional but preferred).
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support smooth deployments and platform reliability.
- Implement and enforce Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository standards.
- Improve system resilience through performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident management.
- Maintain strong security posture, including patching, IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
- Deep knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Proficiency with GitHub platform, including:
- GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
- GitHub Repositories & branching strategies
- GitHub Packages, runners, workflows
- Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, VPN).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, plus familiarity with Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts and SRE principles
