Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tester III with strong experience across the full development lifecycle and hands-on expertise in automated testing, DevOps tooling, AWS services, and scripting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities and communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing across the full development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and methodologies.
- Work with DevOps and IaC tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and debug production systems deployed on AWS.
- Apply TDD/BDD practices to improve code quality and reliability.
- Stay updated with latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- DevOps & IaC Tooling: CDK, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Groovy, Shell scripting.
- Scripting: Python (preferred) or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Configuration as Code principles and API integrations.
- AWS Services: Lake Formation, IAM, Glue, EC2 (or similar).
- Strong experience with automated testing methodologies.
- Exposure to TDD and BDD frameworks.
- Experience debugging and resolving issues in AWS environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
- Experience with CloudFormation and CDK.
- Knowledge of RESTful and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with SonarQube and Veracode.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices.
- Skills: AWS, Glue, SDET capabilities.
