How you’ll make an impact
- Design, develop, and configure NM SCADA EMS/GMS systems based on user documentation, and identify any gaps.
- Identify and document discrepancies in installation and user documentation; collaborate with the documentation team to improve procedures for software upgrades across different versions.
- Ensure real-time data acquisition, visualization, and control by performing system testing, validation, and commissioning.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for NM SCADA software and scripts; automate deployment of SCADA configurations and updates.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures in close coordination with R&D, engineering, and operations teams.
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage SCADA project files and code.
- Monitor system performance using DevOps tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Candidates should have Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 3 to 12 years of experience.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to problems and make decisions regarding quality matters.
- Possess a diversified knowledge of engineering, electric utilities, and related functions. In-depth knowledge of product development and Agile processes.
- Proficiency in SCADA and industrial software platforms. Experience in system integration, software upgrades, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git. Familiarity with cloud environments and virtualization technologies like Microsoft Azure and VMware.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash. Working knowledge of C# and SQL queries.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit. Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking and cybersecurity in operational technology (OT) environments.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
