Role Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between development and operations
by building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment
processes. The role focuses on automation, reliability, scalability, and continuous
improvement of systems and applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration
- and continuous delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Manage and monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and
- performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment
- processes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
- Support release management and production deployments.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and automation.
- Drive DevOps best practices across teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
- practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure
- DevOps).
- Experience managing Linux environments (Windows experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and DNS.
- Exposure to SRE practices.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
