Akkodis is seeking a
DevOps Engineer for a
Contract job with a client in
Princeton, NJ. This is an
onsite role. Ideally looking for applicants with proven experience in DevOps engineering, strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, and proficiency in automation and containerization technologies.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DevOps Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts).
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Data, and AKS.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
- Automate processes using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across cloud and DevOps solutions.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering or similar software engineering/IT operations roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Strong understanding of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM Templates).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages.
- Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
