Core Responsibilities
• Real hands-on security ownership for DevOps teams
• Embed security across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Secure cloud-native workloads end to end
Cloud & Security
• Strong AWS expertise, especially securing AWS environments
• IAM, networking security, encryption, and best practices
• Security hardening for cloud resources
Infrastructure & Containers
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform
• EKS – architecture, deployment, and security
• Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes)
• How security works with EKS + containers
DevSecOps Practices
• Secure container images and deployments
• Shift-left security in DevOps workflows
• Troubleshooting and incident handling
Hands-on Expectations
• Strong hands-on experience (mandatory)
• Ability to implement, not just review
Additional:
• One primary programming/scripting language required
• Knowledge across Terraform + EKS + Security is key
