Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to assist in building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should have hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, AWS Lambda, EKS, Kafka monitoring, AWS Inspector, Terraform, AWS AppConfig, and Argo CD. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in modern DevOps practices while contributing to automation and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for application deployments.
- Support GitOps workflows with Argo CD for Kubernetes-based environments.
- Automate routine tasks using AWS Lambda for notifications and compliance checks.
Cloud & Container Management
- Assist in managing AWS EKS clusters: deployments, scaling, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor Kafka clusters for consumer lag and partition health.
Infrastructure as Code
- Write and maintain Terraform scripts for AWS resource provisioning.
- Ensure proper configuration management and environment consistency.
Configuration & Security
- Implement application configuration strategies using AWS AppConfig.
- Perform basic vulnerability checks and compliance scans using AWS Inspector.
Monitoring & Observability
- Help set up dashboards and alerts for EKS and Kafka using CloudWatch or Prometheus.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

Basic to intermediate experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with AWS services: Lambda, EKS, AppConfig, Inspector.
Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Exposure to Kafka monitoring and Kubernetes fundamentals.
Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts.
