Koios is a growing online marketplace focused on building reliable, scalable technology that supports brands, creators, and customers in a modern digital commerce environment.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our production AWS infrastructure and help scale a live platform. This is an in-house role for someone who has supported real-world production systems and enjoys working closely with engineering and leadership teams.
What You’ll Do
• Own and maintain Koios’ production AWS infrastructure
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized services using AWS ECS, ECR, and Fargate
• Implement and improve scaling and high-availability strategies
• Build and refine CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security in live environments
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident response
• Optimize AWS environments for performance and cost-efficiency
• Collaborate in person with engineering and leadership teams
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience working in DevOps for live production environments
• Proven ability to scale applications in AWS
• Deep, hands-on experience with:
• ECS
• ECR
• Fargate
• Solid understanding of Docker, cloud networking, and AWS architecture
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Comfortable taking ownership of production systems
• Clear communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, in-house team environment
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting e-commerce or high-traffic platforms
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
• AWS cost optimization experience
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, VPCs, secrets management)

Compensation & Growth
