Job Description
As a Cloud DevOps-Operations Support specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our AWS cloud environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our development teams, providing technical guidance and support to enhance the performance and efficiency of our cloud-based solutions. Your responsibilities will also extend to monitoring and troubleshooting issues, implementing best practices, and staying updated with the latest AWS services and features.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and RDS instances.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide technical support and guidance.
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using AWS tools.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and optimize resource utilization.
- Stay updated with AWS service updates and recommend new features for implementation.
- Document and maintain knowledge base articles for internal reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for cloud operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud operations and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Experience with cloud automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Willingness to stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends.
