Responsabilidades Da Posição
Mission: Enable fast, safe delivery through automation, guardrails, and strong observability.
You will
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines (Infrastructure-as-Code).
- Build standard patterns for reliability, security, and cost awareness.
- Partner with engineers to ship safely (deployment strategy, monitoring/alerting, incident response).
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure costs: regularly review cloud resource usage (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), identify waste, apply right-sizing practices, leverage reserved instances or spot instances, and automate shutdown of unused environments.
- Embed cost metrics into CI/CD pipelines: ensure each deployment includes alerts and financial impact reports, enabling technical decisions aligned with budget constraints.
Requisitos Obrigatórios Para a Posição
- Ability to reduce manual work by creating self-service tooling that enhances developer velocity.
- Commitment to treating reliability and security as shared responsibilities and embedding them into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Evidence of independent ownership and delivery in past roles.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (written + spoken) with US stakeholders.
- Depth in testing culture, CI/CD, and production operations.
- Examples of simplifying systems/processes and removing manual bottlenecks.
