The candidate will be responsible for build and manage cloud-based infrastructure using DevOps and Infrastructure as a code” practices. Reporting into the Infrastructure Services Technical Manager, he/she will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of technical solutions working towards migrating to the Cloud.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.
- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems,
- Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
- System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
- Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
- Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
- Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.
Experience and Skillsets required:
- Should have at 5 to 10 years of experience
- Understanding of Terraform and usage of terraform modules.
- Understanding and creation of Cloud formation templates
- Understanding of Ansible.
- Knowledge on AWS CLI and sdk.
- Good understanding of aws services like RDS, EC2, ECS, Fargate (good to know), S3, NLB, ALB), APi Gateways, Route 53, Waf , Shield, Lambda functions, Kms service.
- AWS Networking (VPC, Security Groups, routing, natting, TGW, VPC Peering.
- Good to understand AWS security standards and good industry practices like Encryption at rest, in-transit, AWS firewall and waf implementation, AK/SK rotation, restricting resources on Private network.
- Good to have Knowledge of scripting using Python, Powershell, bash, etc.
- Knowledge of Version Control system Github, Bitbucket, etc.
- Knowledge on Deployment tool CircleCI, Jenkins, TFS build, etc.
- Good to have knowledge of patching, ITIL, cloud support, etc.
- Preferred to have knowledge on monitoring software’s like Datadog or similar.
- Should be able to work independently without much support.
