Senior DevOps Engineer
US-Based | Texas, Ohio, New Hampshire ONLY
We’re hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of a rapidly scaling, cloud-native SaaS company operating across North America, the UK, and ANZ. Following the launch of new AI-driven features, the platform is seeing significant growth and needs an experienced engineer to help scale securely and reliably.
This is a hands-on senior role, working closely with the Head of DevOps and acting as a technical leader within a small team. You’ll own critical infrastructure initiatives, influence architecture, and help drive best-in-class DevOps practices. Preference is given to candidates with a bare-metal / infrastructure-heavy background who enjoy building and operating robust systems from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure
- Lead senior-level DevOps and platform engineering initiatives
- Drive automation, reliability, and zero-downtime deployments
- Support the scaling of AI-enabled services
- Own monitoring, observability, and capacity planning
- Identify risks and proactively improve system resilience
- Participate in on-call support
- Support ISO 27001 / SOC 2 Type II compliance
- Mentor and guide other engineers

- IaC: Terraform, Packer
- Containers: Docker, Podman
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
- CI/CD: Git, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline
- Languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering
- Hands-on AWS production experience
- Strong automation, scripting, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in secure, compliant environments
- Bare-metal / infrastructure-first mindset is preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Proactive, ownership-driven attitude
