Cloud Systems Engineer (Azure & Microsoft 365)
We’re seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud and collaboration platforms with a focus on Azure infrastructure and Microsoft 365. This role suits someone who can own projects end-to-end and work independently across cloud and identity environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure and Microsoft 365 services
- Lead cloud infrastructure projects from planning through delivery
- Automate server patching and management (Windows & Linux)
- Support and optimise Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), and core M365 services
- Implement monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues
- Maintain technical documentation and system inventories
- Handle service requests and incidents via ticketing systems
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years’ experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365
- Proven automation and patching experience
- Experience migrating on-prem services to the cloud
- Solid Windows and Linux administration skills
- Good understanding of security and operational best practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- AWS or GCP experience is a plus
- Monitoring and ticketing system experience preferred
