Akkodis is seeking an
AWS Cloud Engineer for a
Contract with a client in
Minneapolis, MN. The engineer will design and manage scalable AWS environments and support cloud migration activities across applications.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AWS Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, build, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for business‑critical applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate cloud provisioning.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools to support continuous delivery.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, or EKS, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud‑native architectures and assist with application and code migration tasks, including Python‑based automation where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles.
- Proven ability to design and manage AWS cloud environments using core services, IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot applications, ETL processes, and scripting (Python preferred) to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
