We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team to build, automate, and evolve cloud-native solutions that enable teams to deliver software quickly, securely, and at scale. This role blends strong software engineering fundamentals with deep AWS expertise, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and a DevOps mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native platform services and automation.
- Build reusable IaC modules to standardize cloud environments.
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient AWS applications and platform solutions.
- Develop scripting and automation to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
- Partner with application teams to enable self-service cloud capabilities.
- Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Document designs, APIs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver incrementally.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and APIs.
- Experience building or consuming RESTful or event-driven services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
- Experience architecting secure, scalable, cost-aware AWS solutions; familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Proven IaC experience with CloudFormation, CDK (preferred), or Terraform; automating environment provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
- Knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases; ability to design appropriate data models.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams; strong written and verbal communication.
- Preferred: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline), DevOps practices (continuous delivery, infrastructure automation, operational ownership), AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers), AWS IAM, multi-account strategies (Account Factory / Control Tower), observability (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry), containerization/orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes), event-driven/serverless architectures (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS).
