ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will design, deploy, and manage advanced cloud-based solutions on AWS. This role requires an experienced engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud management, DevSecOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience and will be proficient in implementing and managing AWS networking components, security practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in infrastructure & pipeline automation
- Good experience on Python and Terraform
- Has independently built automation/pipelines
- Understands design decisions (“why” behind implementations)
- Can convert high-level requirements into execution without handholding
- Will support Internal Developer Platform (IDP) build for the client
Tech Signals
- GitHub knowledge important
- AWS/Azure expertise not mandatory, but general understanding required
- Must be open to learning new tech stack
- Terraform and Python experience is desirable
Experience Range: 3-6 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related
