Role: Cloud Platform Engineer

NOTES: We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Platform Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, managing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will be responsible for providing a robust and reliable platform that empowers our product teams to rapidly build and deploy innovative applications. You will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, GitOps methodologies, and cutting[1]edge observability tools to ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of our cloud environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineering or DevOps role.
• Significant experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes, ideally with Amazon EKS.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with GitOps methodologies and tools, particularly Flux CD.
• Experience implementing and utilizing observability platforms, with preference for Splunk Observability Cloud (or similar tools like Datadog, New Relic).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like GitHub Actions.
