As a DevOps Engineer at Marmin Technologies, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to automate deployments, optimise system performance, and ensure reliability across our platforms.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. ).
- Deploy, monitor, and scale containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve system architecture and deployment strategies.
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when required.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system performance tuning.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc. ).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of service meshes and API gateways.
- Exposure to compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2 ISO, etc. ).
- Experience managing high-availability and high-traffic systems.
