Cloud Engineer
Location: Dawsonville, GA (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time
Who We Are - Founded in 2019 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, TrollEye Security was built to solve a problem we saw repeatedly: organizations investing heavily in security testing but struggling to consistently mobilize remediation across teams.
Our mission is to help security teams continuously identify, validate, and address the threats that pose the highest risk to their organization through continuous testing, an integrated platform, and a partnership approach that improves processes and fixes root causes over time.
Role Overview - We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure that supports client-facing security services. You will work closely with our security engineers and leadership to ensure client cloud environments are secure by design, continuously validated, and aligned to modern security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code deployments using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar frameworks.
- Implement identity and access management controls, least privilege enforcement, and multi-account/multi-tenant architecture.
- Integrate cloud-native security controls, including logging, monitoring, detection, and response tooling.
- Partner with offensive security teams to remediate validated findings uncovered through penetration testing and attack surface analysis.
- Support DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security testing and validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously assess cloud exposure, misconfigurations, and attack paths across environments.
- Harden containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters where applicable.
- Ensure cloud environments align with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, logging, and security architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
- Experience securing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Strong understanding of cloud misconfiguration risks and common attack vectors.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with security and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing environments, or security-focused organizations.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, attack surface management, or exposure management concepts.
- Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, etc.).
- Experience supporting high-availability and high-security SaaS platforms.
