About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in building and scaling cloud infrastructure on Azure. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, contribute to infrastructure automation, and collaborate with a forward-thinking team that embraces AI-assisted engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale Azure cloud environments using infrastructure as code principles
- Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and delivery
- Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and security controls
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance
- Work with various Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and infrastructure performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and architecture
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (AKS or other distributions)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with IAM policies, role-based access control, and security best practices
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot
- Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Understanding of networking concepts and Azure networking services
