Overview:
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer / Backend Engineer with strong expertise in
GitHub Administration, JFrog Administration, Python Development, and AWS/Azure Cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, cloud infrastructure, and backend development initiatives. This position involves both operational support and engineering responsibilities, ensuring platform stability, automation excellence, and continuous delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise, including repository governance, access control, workflows, and CI/CD integrations.
- Manage and maintain JFrog Artifactory (and/or Nexus) including repository configurations, artifact lifecycle management, and access control.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain backend services and automation scripts using Python (or Java/JavaScript/.NET as applicable).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm.
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide platform support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across multi-layered systems (application, infrastructure, networking).
- Drive automation, DevOps best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of strong DevOps experience with hands-on expertise in CI/CD and artifact management.
- Strong experience in GitHub Administration and GitHub Actions.
- Strong experience in JFrog Administration (Artifactory) and/or Nexus.
- Strong Linux administration and advanced Shell scripting expertise.
- Backend development experience in at least one language: Python (preferred), Java, JavaScript, or .NET.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm.
- Strong AWS experience with solid cloud infrastructure knowledge (Azure experience is an advantage).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and strong team collaboration skills.
- Passion for DevOps culture, automation, and engineering best practices.
Preferred / Advantageous:
- AWS / Kubernetes certifications.
- Azure cloud exposure.
- Experience in enterprise-scale CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.
