DevOps Engineer (Associate)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Monday – Thursday Onsite)
Must Haves:
Linux (Strong), Networking, Automation, AWS, Scripting/Programming (Bash, Python), Virtualization (good to have)
On-Call Rotation (1 day every 8 -10 days)
Daily work:
- Automation work
- Write automation for auto-remediation
- Investigating outages
- Checking logs
- Monitor systems
- Running diagnostic commands
- Finding root causes
- Working with other teams to resolve incidents
Job Description:
Experience:
• Bachelor or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field
• 3+ year of Coding in Python or Ruby
• 2+ year Experience/ Exposure in AWS technology
• 3+ years’ experience in business process and/or technology implementation
• Proven experience on scaling cloud-based application with main focus on automation
• Current knowledge of evolution of tools to drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, release automation
