This is your chance to lead the charge on a massive Air Force IT enterprise and Cyber Weapons program, architecting hybrid cloud solutions that safeguard national security. You will wield a massive tech stack including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI while driving automation through Terraform and Kubernetes in a high-stakes, fast-moving DevSecOps environment.
The Role
- Lead the design and deployment of hybrid cloud and virtualization infrastructures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI using both IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Drive extreme automation and scalability by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes for complex microservices architectures.
- Architect and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi and Hyper-V while supporting robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement high-level security standards (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) within RMF and NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks.
What You'll Need
- Extensive experience in cloud engineering (12+ years with a BS or 10+ years with a Master’s) supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI (Mandatory).
- Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) and an advanced cloud cert (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Deep technical proficiency with automation tools (Terraform/Ansible), scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash), and monitoring suites (Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).
- Proven track require in mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with mission-critical needs.
