Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and talented SDE-1 DevOps Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high system availability. You will work closely with our development and product teams to automate deployment processes, optimize infrastructure costs, and maintain security across global cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, including compute instances, storage, networking, and serverless functions.
- Container Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud Monitoring.
- Infrastructure as Code: Write and maintain infrastructure configurations using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and reduce operational costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Backend, Frontend, and Product teams to support seamless deployments and system reliability.
RequirementsRequired Skills and Experience- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Core Tech: Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, Shell scripting (Bash), and Python or Go.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) or GCP (Cloud Run, GCS, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).
- Containerization: Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a "get-it-done" attitude in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to Have- Kubernetes: Experience with Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, or AKS) for container orchestration.
- Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
- Message Brokers: Understanding of RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis.
- Database Management: Experience with database backup, replication, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Security: Knowledge of security best practices, SSL/TLS management, IAM, and secrets management.
