Zensar is looking for a Devops Engineer in the United States (Hybrid). This position is open for Full Time with excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves strong expertise in Linux administration, cloud platforms, automation tools, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions.
- Manage VPCs, networking, security groups, and load balancers.
Linux Administration
- Manage and support Linux-based production and development environments.
- Perform system tuning, patching, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues and ensure system reliability.
Automation & CI/CD
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement configuration management and version control best practices.
Containers & Orchestration
- Deploy and manage applications on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop Helm charts, manage clusters, and ensure high availability on K8s.
Monitoring & Logging
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Optimize system performance and reliability based on telemetry insights.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Linux Administration.
- Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).
- Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Expertise in Terraform / Ansible / CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree – Information Technology
