Senior DevOps Engineer - Up to $200K basic - Denver, CO (Hybrid)
This is not a traditional support DevOps role.
We’re hiring for a global technology leader supporting a large-scale Engineering organisation and they need a hands-on DevOps Engineer to architect, modernize, and own mission-critical infrastructure. This is a high-ownership role with real influence across global engineering teams.
You’ll be Designing and Building:
- High-availability, production-grade on-prem Engineering infrastructure
- Secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines
- DevSecOps transformation initiatives across the organisation
- Monitoring, backup, and infrastructure resilience systems
- Enterprise DevOps tooling environments (GitLab, Jenkins, Atlassian, Nexus/JFrog)
What They’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of industry experience (Software Development background preferred)
- 5+ years in DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to DevOps transformation initiatives
- Strong Linux experience (RedHat and/or Ubuntu required)
- Experience designing and managing servers, RAID arrays, and network switches
- Strong AWS experience (IAM, EC2, S3, networking)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience with:
- Jenkins and/or GitLab
- Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence, Guard)
- Artifact management (GitLab Registry, Nexus, JFrog)
- Bash, Perl, Make
- SNMP, SSO, NFS/SMB, PXE
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes or GCP exposure
- Veeam or backup tooling experience
- AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
- Active Directory / LDAP
- Engineering lab environment experience
