Platform Engineer – AWS / Kubernetes
We’re working with a Series B SaaS company that’s expanding its Platform Engineering team as the product and engineering organisation scales.
The platform runs fully on AWS and supports multiple product teams deploying services into Kubernetes. As usage grows, the company is investing heavily in the infrastructure, tooling and reliability that allow engineers to ship software quickly and safely.
The focus of the role is building and improving the platform that engineers build and deploy software on. This includes core cloud infrastructure, developer tooling and the systems that keep production environments stable as the platform scales.
Responsibilities
• Design and improve AWS infrastructure supporting production systems
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters running production workloads
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows used by engineering teams
• Develop internal platform tooling that improves developer experience
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability across services
• Work closely with product engineering teams on infrastructure and system design
Tech stack
