Role Overview
We are seeking a high-calibre Senior DevOps & Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the evolution of our multi-cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, and GCP). In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural design and hands-on engineering excellence. You will work alongside a talented team of cloud and DevOps engineers, driving the adoption of DevSecOps, scaling microservices architectures, and ensuring our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is modular, secure, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Cloud Strategy: Design and implement scalable, well-architected frameworks across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring cross-cloud consistency and disaster recovery readiness.
- DevSecOps Lead: Architect end-to-end GitHub Enterprise CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated security scanning (GitHub scan tools), dependency checks, and compliance-as-code.
- Container Orchestration: Manage and optimize large-scale Kubernetes environments (EKS, AKS, GKE), focusing on service mesh implementation, ingress controllers, and cost-efficient scaling.
- Security & Compliance: Implement Zero Trust networking, IAM least-privilege policies, and automated cloud governance tools to protect microservices deployments.
- Infrastructure Engineering: Lead the development of enterprise-grade Terraform modules, promoting reusability and "Gold Standard" patterns for developer self-service.
- Team Mentorship & Governance: Provide technical steering for a team of 7-8 DevOps and Cloud engineers. Conduct architectural reviews, promote best practices in YAML/K8s manifest management, and troubleshoot complex production bottlenecks.
Required Technical Expertise
- Cloud Providers: Expert-level proficiency in AWS (EKS, S3, RDS, Bedrock, AgentCore, MSK etc), Azure (AKS, EventHub, Cloud Storage, AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI etc ), and GCP (GKE, VertexAI, CloudSQL, Cloud Storage etc).
- Infrastructure as Code: Advanced Terraform (State management, Modules, or Private Registry experience).
- CI/CD & Automation: Mastery of GitHub Actions or GitHub Enterprise Server, including custom runners and environment-specific deployment gates.
- Containers & Microservices: Deep knowledge of Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm charts, and service mesh technologies including Istio.
- Security (DevSecOps): Experience with Secret Management (HashiCorp Vault/Azure Key Vault) and container vulnerability scanning (Trivy/AWS Inspector).
- Observability: Implementation of monitoring, logging and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
Management Skills
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Ability to analyze cloud spend and implement automated cost-saving measures (Spot instances, reserved capacity, storage lifecycle policies).
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Defining and maintaining SLOs, SLAs, and SLIs to ensure system "error budgets" are respected.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate complex technical debt or infrastructure needs into business value for executive leadership.
- Crisis Management: Calm under pressure during high stake incidents, with a methodical approach to Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
