What You'll Be Doing
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud-based applications and systems' availability, scalability, and security. This role involves troubleshooting and optimizing cloud environments while staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
What We're Looking For
- Deploy and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, databases) using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of cloud services.
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based applications.
- Implement automation and orchestration to streamline cloud provisioning and management processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications in cloud technologies.
What You'll Bring
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in IT or cloud-related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services and deployments.
Licenses & Credentials
- Minimum Required: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer).
Systems & Technology
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
