How You Will Help The Team
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will support the development and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that enables data-driven applications and digital solutions. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and IT partners to ensure environments are reliable, well-documented, and aligned with security best practices.
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support analytics and application development teams
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to deploy and manage environments consistently and efficiently
- Monitor cloud environments and respond to system issues and alerts
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and operational best practices
Qualifications
Your Knowledge & Expertise
You have a solid foundation in cloud computing and DevOps concepts and are eager to apply and expand your skills in a production environment. You are comfortable learning new tools, documenting your work, and collaborating across teams. You understand the importance of automation, security, and reliability in modern infrastructure.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or hands-on projects
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git)
- Basic understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
