DevOps Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Hybrid (Wisconsin-based)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices for a modern, technology‑driven organization. This role focuses on building and improving CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure reliable, efficient delivery of software solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps professional looking for a contract‑to‑hire path within a collaborative and forward‑thinking engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
- Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications, including orchestration with Kubernetes
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and visibility
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks and workflow improvements
- Manage source control using Git, ensuring version control best practices
- Oversee configuration management to maintain consistency across environments
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tooling
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Experience working in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and logging tools
- Experience supporting systems in regulated or highly secure environments
