Job Details:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for application packaging and standardized deployment patterns; contribute to reusable templates and shared chart repositories.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in a consistent, automated manner.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security using cloud-native tools and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Collaborate with development, SRE, and architecture teams to streamline delivery workflows, optimize runtime environments, troubleshoot production issues, and enforce DevOps best practices.
- Be a great communicator and team player we need strong verbal and written collaboration skills!
- Deployment Coordination: Plan and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, coordinating between engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure timely software delivery.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks or "breaking changes" that could disrupt the classroom experience, maintaining a zero-downtime mindset.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the central hub for communicating release notes, scheduled maintenance, and new feature rollouts to both internal teams and external users.
- Environment Management: Oversee the progression of code through staging, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and production environments.
- Process Automation: Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines to increase the frequency and reliability of updates to the educational platform.
