Role Overview:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 1+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and Linux systems. You will work closely with developers, AI engineers, and solution architects to enable smooth deployment and operation of AI-driven products.
This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow in modern DevOps and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Support cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring on Azure or AWS.
- Work closely with developers, AI engineers, and architects to enable seamless integration and delivery.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.
- Maintain Linux-based systems and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Ubuntu laptops of employees.
- Support internal cloud storage systems and ensure secure, organized access.
- Contribute to improving DevOps practices, automation, and documentation across projects.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Linux & Scripting: Strong fundamentals in Linux systems, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on exposure to Azure or AWS (VMs, storage, networking basics).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker; basic understanding of Kubernetes.
- Networking Basics: Understanding of HTTP, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Security Basics: Awareness of IAM, secrets management, and secure configurations.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose production issues.
- Communication: Strong English communication skills — ability to collaborate with engineering teams and participate in technical discussions.
- Learning Mindset: Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent.
- Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
- Experience working in AI/ML product environments or data-heavy systems.
- Familiarity with cloud cost monitoring and optimization.
- Exposure to modern deployment environments (e.g., DigitalOcean App Platform, AWS ECS, Kubernetes-based setups).
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a similar role.
- Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced engineering environments.
