Senior AWS Platform Engineer
Pay: $90-95 hr/w-2
Location: 100% Remote

Seeking a skilled Senior AWS Platform Engineer to support AWS platform automation initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance foundational cloud capabilities, manage AWS account and IAM policies, and implement modernization projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact senior-level projects within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including Config remediation, CloudWatch, IAM, and AWS Identity Center
- Proficiency with Terraform, JFrog Artifactory, and Azure ADO
- Strong background in DevOps, platform tooling, and cloud security practices
- Ability to develop assessment and execution plans rapidly
- Effective communication skills for status reporting and documentation
- Prior experience with cloud modernization projects and governance standards
Responsibilities
- Lead assessment and planning for AWS platform automation and modernization projects within the first 2-3 weeks
- Execute remediation tasks such as AWS Config, CloudWatch log encryption, and IAM provisioning
- Improve asset tagging for FinOps, upgrade Terraform modules, and enhance pipeline security
- Document technical decisions, standards, and implementation guidance
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide status updates on ongoing work
- Deliver comprehensive end-of-engagement summaries including completed work and recommended next steps
