We are seeking an experienced DevOps Expert with deep expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure to design, implement, and manage highly scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments. This role involves working across multiple AWS accounts and regions to support mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting cloud solutions, maintaining infrastructure, and enabling seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. This position is best suited for someone with strong technical depth in AWS, a solid understanding of system administration, and a passion for building reliable and efficient cloud ecosystems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions
- Administer AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Auto Scaling
- Develop and maintain automated cloud environments to support full software development lifecycle
- Manage and optimize compute, storage, and networking resources for performance and cost efficiency
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows environments
- Implement security best practices, updates, and system hardening to ensure infrastructure protection
- Monitor systems, manage alerts, and handle incident response using monitoring tools
- Automate server configurations, deployments, and operational processes using DevOps tools
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable solutions
- Maintain documentation including system architecture, processes, and operational procedures
- Provide application and infrastructure support to ensure system reliability
- Analyze infrastructure performance and recommend improvements for optimization
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and deep understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts
- Proven experience in designing and managing multi-account, multi-region AWS environments
- 10+ years of experience in system administration across Linux and Windows platforms
- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and monitoring tools
- Experience with automation tools like Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, or similar
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Node.js
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and load balancing
- Experience with cloud monitoring, alerting, and incident management systems
- Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
