DevOps Lead (Hands-On Leadership | AWS | Kubernetes)
Intepros is seeking a DevOps Lead for one of their valued clients to mentor and guide a team of Network Administrators while remaining deeply hands-on in engineering and operations. This role blends technical leadership with execution, driving modern DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Network Administrators in a DevOps-driven environment
- Own and manage Jira backlog, sprint planning, and task prioritization
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure in AWS
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Puppet
- Provide hands-on support across Linux and Windows systems administration
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
- Contribute to troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system reliability initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a DevOps Lead / Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Lead capacity
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and cloud-native services
- Deep experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet
- Solid background in both Linux and Windows system administration
- Experience working with Java-based applications/environments
- Strong experience with Jira, backlog management, and Agile workflows
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or optimizing CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
- Background in networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure
- Experience in hybrid cloud or large-scale distributed systems
