About the Role / Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize
scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that drive our digital transformation initiatives.
You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust
cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
In this role, you will lead cloud adoption strategies, architect complex solutions, ensure compliance
and security best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps,
security, and business) to deliver high-impact projects. This is a key technical leadership position
ideal for someone passionate about cloud-native technologies, modernization, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions that are scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant,
secure, and cost-optimized, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
Lead cloud migration strategies, application modernization (including lift-and-shift, re-platforming,
and re-architecting to microservices/serverless), and hybrid/multi-cloud implementations.
Collaborate with clients/stakeholders to understand business needs, define solution roadmaps, and
present architectural designs, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Define and implement cloud governance, security controls, identity & access management (IAM),
compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOC2), and risk mitigation strategies.
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, deployment, and operations
(e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE)
and serverless architectures for modern application development.
Optimize cloud costs through FinOps practices, monitoring, right-sizing, and performance tuning.
Integrate emerging technologies such as AI/ML services, data analytics platforms, DevOps/CI-CD
pipelines, and observability tools.
Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure
adherence to best practices and enterprise standards.
Evaluate new cloud services, tools, and vendors; stay updated with industry trends and recommend
innovations.
Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business
continuity.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years specifically in cloud architecture, solution design, or
cloud engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or
Google Cloud); multi-cloud experience is a big plus.
Proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale cloud solutions, migrations, or digital
transformation projects.
Must-Have Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in cloud services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security, analytics).
Proficiency in IaC (Terraform preferred), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps,
etc.).
Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, containers (Kubernetes), serverless, and
microservices architectures.
Experience with cloud security, compliance, monitoring (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor,
Prometheus), and logging tools.
Programming/scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar) for automation.
Understanding of data platforms, AI/ML integration, and cost management (FinOps).

Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Professional Cloud Architect
Other relevant certifications: TOGAF, CCSP, CKP (Kubernetes), or FinOps Certified Practitioner.
Preferred Experience
Experience in industries like BFSI, retail, healthcare, or IT services (common in Bengaluru
ecosystem).
Hands-on work with hybrid cloud, edge computing, or AI-driven cloud solutions.
Prior exposure to consulting or client-facing solution architecture roles.
